My name is Tiina Häkkinen, and I'm a freelance translator residing in Tampere, Finland. I offer high-quality translations, proofreading, editing, subtitling and technical authoring services in several fields. I specialize in audiovisual translation, UI and web site localisation and technical translations (user manuals, product descriptions, etc.).

I hold a Master of Arts degree in Translation Studies, English, obtained at Tampere University in 2003. I have also studied Technical Communication at Tampere Polytechnic.

I started working as a freelancer translator in 2000 when I was living in the United Kingdom. Since then, I have worked with several international companies and translation agencies of all sizes, both in translation and technical documentation.

 Rosmer InternationalIn 2009 I joined forces with a couple of colleagues, and together we founded a translation and documentation co-op, Rosmer International. This ensures that we can better respond to our clients' resourcing needs also in larger projects.
